Rep. Matt Dean running for governor

Current State Representative and former House Majority Leader Matt Dean has jumped into the 2018 gubernatorial race. Dean, am architect and Minnesota native, says he will abide by the Republican Party endorsement.

Bill Salisbury of the Saint Paul Pioneer Press:

Why is he running? “The four-word answer is ‘The lady from Hugo.’ She told me the politicians take the state back and forth from each other, but we never get it. I’m about making the state work for Minnesotans,” the Dellwood Republican said.
