Anoka County bus crashes into Columbia Heights home

You’re sitting at home on your couch, when a county bus ruins your evening and your house.

Mary Divine of the Saint Paul Pioneer Press:

Fire Chief Gary Gorman said the owner of the house was sitting in his living room around 5 p.m. Friday when the Anoka County Traveler bus, operated by First Transit, crashed into the house.

The homeowner was thrown from the home as a result of the crash. He and one of two passengers on the bus needed medical treatment, but none of the injuries were life-threatening, Gorman said.
