Stillwater hospital patients moved over suspicious odor

Patients in the intensive care unit of Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater had to be moved because of a suspicious chemical odor.

Mary Divine of the Saint Paul Pioneer Press:

Ten patients in ICU were moved to other parts of the hospital and were expected to remain there for the rest of the day, said Ashley Burt, a spokeswoman for the hospital.

Stillwater Fire Department officials determined the odor was caused by condensation on a closed valve on a humidifier, Burt said.
