Pipeline protest shuts down Twin Cities bridge

Protesters demonstrating against the Dakota Access oil pipeline in North Dakota stopped traffic on the bridge over the Mississippi River connecting Lake Street in Minneapolis with Marshall Avenue in Saint Paul.

Josh Verges of the Saint Paul Pioneer Press:

Demonstrators from each side of the river met at the midpoint on the bridge, where around 150 people carried signs and chanted slogans.

No arrests were made.
